Hi, my name is Michaela. I’m originally from Killimor, but moved to Loughrea in 2023. I have a degree in Childcare Management from Athlone Institute of Technology and have been working in the childcare sector since 2010. I progressed to an assistant manager’s position in 2015.
In 2018 I joined the Mulberry team, and have never looked back. I absolutely love working with the team here and find that the ethos of the centre matches my own so well. It really is a place where the children come first.
I covered for Lisa, as manager, while she was on maternity leave and officially became assistant manager in October 2022. I love the mix of both office and room based work and all the challenges that come with it.
I’m also a mum to 2 busy boys, Kyle and Nate who have both been in Mulberry since they were 6 months. They both love coming everyday and look forward to all the fun they have.
In my small bit of free time I enjoy meeting friends, going to the cinema and reading.
